9 Steps to Building Your Jenamar Home

Step One:
Prior to Construction Release

- Purchase and sales documents approved with sales representative.
- Preliminary loan approval provided by lender.
- Homebuyer to meet with Design Center Team to make selections for all personal interior home features.

Step Two:
Construction Release
|
- Jenamar applies for building permit.
- Prepare lot for home construction.
- Order all building materials.
- Plot plan for home is drawn. Construction release scheduled.

Step Three:
Foundation Stage
|
- Lot graded for foundation.
- Set foundation forms.
- Underground utilities installed to home.
- Jenamar and City of Lacey inspections.
- Prepare foundation.
- Jenamar, structural engineer and City of Lacey inspections.
- Rough grade lot.

Step Four:
Frame/Rough-in Stage
|
- Carpentry floor installation.
- Carpentry frame installation.
- Roof
- Exterior Siding
- Mechanical systems: Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, Ventilations, Air Conditioning and Fireplace.
- Jenamar and city inspections.
- Frame Options Orientation Walk Meeting - First opportunity to view your new Jubilee home!

Step Five:
Trim Stage
|
- House insulated and energy sealed.
- Selected exterior Finish installed - shake, stone or brick.
- Install drywall.
- Jenamar and City of Lacey inspections.
- Tape and texture drywall.
- Trim carpentry - millwork installed.
- Paint
- Cabinets installed.
- Counter and vanity tops installed.

Step Six:
Finish Stage
|
- Ceramic tile flooring installed.
- Vinyl/Hardwood flooring installed.
- Mechanical fixtures installed: Plumbing, Electric, Heating, Air Conditioning, and Appliances.
- Utility connections installed.
- Hardware, mirrors and shower enclosures installed.
- Carpet installed.
- Cleaning and touch-up work.
- Final construction review.

Step Seven:
House Final
|
- Quality test and assurance check by Jenamar personnel.
- Final City of Lacey inspection.
- Gas meter installed.
- Mortgage appraisal (if required).
- Quality assurance list completed.
- Landscaping installed depending on weather conditions.

Step Eight:
Prior to Closing
|
- Homebuyer transfers utilities into their name to coordinate with closing of home.
- Homebuyer assures all loan documents are submitted to mortgage company.
- Homebuyer finalizes loan or cash payment arrangements.
- Homebuyer schedules signing of documents with title and escrow company.
- Homebuyer secures final amount due to title and escrow company.
- Transfer of ownership to buyers.
- Issue keys to homeowner upon approval of recording.
- Final Homeowner Orientation Meeting - Second opportunity to view your new Jubilee home!
- Receipt of home warranty, policies andprocedures.

Step Nine:
After Closing
|
- Homeowner completes and returns customer survey to Jenamar Corporate Office.
- Take proof of purchase to the US Post Office to commence postal delivery.
- Jenamar customer care service and warranty begins.
- Service from Jenamar in response to written request from Homeowner - 60 day and 11 month walks to be scheduled between Homeowner and Jenamar Customer Care representative.
- Enjoyment of new home and lifestyle at JUBILEE!
