Panera Bread

Open: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Menu: Baked goods, soups, sandwiches.


Man may not be able to live on bread alone, but at this bakery-café it’s sure worth a try. Stop by for a pastry at breakfast, return for a freshly made sandwich and salad at lunch – and make sure to buy a loaf of the bread to enjoy at home.

Tugboat Annie’s Restaurant and Bar

Hours: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; Breakfast served Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to Noon.
Menu: American.


You can even rent a kayak with your meal at this waterside restaurant in the Westbay Marina.


The Oyster House
320 4th Avenue West, Olympia

Hours: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday.
Menu: Seafood specialties; steak, pasta.


Voted the one of the region’s “Best Oyster Bars” in 2005 by Seattle television station, KING 5, The Oyster House offers a fun atmosphere and large outdoor dining area.


Waterstreet Café & Bar

Hours: Open 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday Brunch 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Happy Hours 3 to 5:30 p.m.
Menu: Progressive American Cuisine


This inviting establishment serves an eclectic menu of dishes, including Grecian pizza, Chicken Saltimbocca, Veal Marsala and Grilled Portobello Mushroom Cap. It also features one of the largest wine selections in the south Sound – now which goes better with Rustic Meat Loaf, white or red?
