Dozens learn how to “move with ease” at free Jubilee seminar
LACEY, Wash. – Jubilee debuted its “Move with Ease” seminar on Jan. 24, drawing dozens of active adults age 55 or better to this master-planned community built just for them.
The free seminar features experts in home selling, staging, financing and moving. The next “Move with Ease” seminar is scheduled for April 26.
While the decision to embrace the Jubilee lifestyle may be easy, the details involved can seem daunting. The seminar addresses those challenges.
“The vast majority of our visitors want to live here,” says Christine Bachman, vice president of marketing for Jenamar Communities. “Although we do everything in our power to make it easy, our buyers face a few challenges.”
More than 1,000 active adults age 55 or better have moved to Jubilee since the master planned community broke ground in 2003.
The next “Move with Ease” seminar will be held on April 26, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the recently remodeled Jubilee Lodge. There is no cost to attend; however, reservations are required and may be made by calling Jubilee at (360) 491-5900 or by registering online at www.jubileeliving.com. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
The seminar topics are as follows:
- Rightsize Your Life: Inspired by the book “Rightsizing Your Life” by Ciji Ware, this session is less about downsizing and more about simplifying one’s surroundings in order to focus on what matters most. Learn how to get started on rightsizing your own life.
- Finance with Ease: By learning more about the various financing options available, you’ll be better able to choose which loan programs and products are best for your unique situation. Learn what you need to know before you buy or sell.
- Sell with Ease: Setting the asking price of your home is critical – but it can be fraught with emotion. Learn tips from licensed real estate agents about setting the price, ensuring a smooth closing and everything in between.
- Stage Your Home to Sell: To emphasize your home’s assets, downplay its weaknesses and prompt potential buyers to mentally move in, you’ll want to set the right stage. Learn from a home staging expert how to give your home an edge over the competition.
- Pack, Store and Move with Ease: A successful move requires planning ahead and organization. Whether you plan to hire a moving company or go it alone, learn tips from the pros to make the moving process go as smoothly as possible.
Interested home buyers are welcome to experience the Jubilee lifestyle with a full tour of the Lodge, the community and nine furnished model homes Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
