Jubilee sells 600th home in March
LACEY, Wash. – Home sales at Jubilee, an award-winning, master planned community for active adults age 55 or better, surpassed the 600 mark during the month of March, according to developer Jenamar Communities LLC.
Jubilee, a 400-plus-acre community of Craftsman-style, single-story homes, opened in 2003. The community is now about halfway complete, with more than 1,100 residents calling Jubilee home. Development is expected to wrap up in 2012, with 1,170 homes spread among thirteen villages.
Despite a national downturn in the real estate market, Jubilee developer Jenamar Communities avoids significant discounts and incentives to boost sales.
"We're committed to protecting the investment of our current homeowners," said Christine Bachman, Vice President of Marketing for Jenamar. "This also gives new home buyers a sense of confidence about the value of the home they are buying - the home they buy today won't have a 'clearance' tag on it tomorrow."

All homes are single-level, Craftsman-style with flowing floorplans, nine- and 10-foot ceilings, two bedrooms (one a master suite with a walk-in closet), two full baths and a two-car garage. Some of the homes have flex-room options.
About 78% of Jubilee's home buyers come from within the state of Washington.
