Olympia Rose Show to be held at Jubilee on June 23
The 53rd annual Olympia Rose Show is coming to Jubilee on Saturday, June 23, featuring dozens of beautiful, garden-grown roses. Avid gardeners, rose connoisseurs or those who simply want to take in some breathtaking blooms and views can visit from noon to 4:30 p.m. in the Jubilee Lodge. The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors to the Rose Show will enjoy miniature roses, rose sprays, fragrant roses, Hybrid Teas, Grandifloars, Floribundas, Climbers, Shrubs, Polyanthas, Old Garden roses and many more. Judges will evaluate single roses and arrangements in about 50 different classes.
Expert rose growers will be on site to answer questions, and plenty of information will be available for guests to take home.
For 53 years, Olympia Rose Society members have given the public the chance to experience the beauty of their gardens. About 150 rose enthusiasts participate in the Rose Show as exhibitors, expert advisors and volunteers.
The Olympia Rose Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion and education of the National Flower of the United States: the rose. The local chapter is affiliated with the Pacific Northwest District of The American Rose Society.
