Washington State Senior Games bring cyclists and athletes to Jubilee
Jubilee residents will get a front-row seat at one of the most popular events in the Washington State Senior Games, to be held Friday to Sunday, July 27-29, 2007. The cycling event, scheduled for Sunday, will involve a course that winds through Jubilee, a master-planned community for active adults age 55 or better.
About 1,500 athletes ages 50+ from Washington and the Northwest are expected to participate in the Games, which includes everything from archery and table tennis to golf and cycling.
The cycling course will take riders through the residential streets of Jubilee, allowing residents to bring out chairs and watch the cyclists from their front yards.
Top finishers from these state Senior Games can qualify for the national Senior Games.
