JUBILEE HOSTS ARTS AND CRAFTS
FAIR OCTOBER 25TH, 2008
LACEY, Wash. – Jubilee will open its doors Oct. 25 for the Jubilee Arts and Crafts Fair, allowing the public to indulge their love of handmade works of art and other crafts and goods. This free event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Lodge at Jubilee, a master planned community for active adults age 55 or better.
The Jubilee Lodge will be filled with items for sale, handcrafted by Jubilee residents and family, including blown glass, visual arts, poetry books, furniture, quilts, jewelry and much more.
Full pies, cakes and individual desserts will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting Jubilee Service Group projects such as holiday baskets for Thurston County Senior Services.
“We have many talented residents and family members,” says Christine Bachman, vice president of marketing for Jenamar Communities. “We just want people to come have a fun afternoon at Jubilee.”
Guests can also enter a drawing to win a painting. The Lodge and model homes will be open for tours.
The Jubilee Lodge is located at 8487 Bainbridge Loop NE, Lacey; take Exit 111 from Interstate 5 and follow the signs to Jubilee.
