Jubilee celebrates sale of 500th home;
developer expands in Southwest
Jenamar Communities to build active adult community in New Mexico
Lacey, WA — Jubilee at Hawks Prairie, a community for Active Adults, has sold its 500th home since presales began in August 2003. Since the beginning of the year, home sales at Jubilee have averaged nearly four per week.
“More and more Active Adults are drawn to our combination of high quality homes with community amenities that support their lifestyles,” says Christine Bachman, vice president of marketing for Jenamar Communities, Jubilee’s developer.
Amenities include two adjacent championship golf courses, walking and biking trails, and a large recreation lodge with dozens of activities.
The newest attraction just opened in October – a private, paved trail to the Puget Sound beachfront. About two miles in length and surrounded by natural trees and vegetation, the trail is designed for exclusive use by the residents of the Hawks Prairie Master Plan, of which Jubilee is the primary community.
“Jubilee is so unique with the trail, the growing community and the investment value. Even if you were willing to pay more you couldn’t find anything else like it,” said Mark Kaplan, vice chairman, Jenamar Communities.
Jenamar recently broke ground on a new Active Adult community in Los Lunas, New Mexico, about 20 miles south of Albuquerque. The planned community of 1,800 single-family homes, known as Jubilee Los Lunas, will feature many of the same amenities as its namesake here in Lacey. Home sales are scheduled to begin in late November.
At its completion, Jubilee at Hawks Prairie in Lacey will have about 1,100 single-family homes and approximately 1,900 residents. Home buyers can choose from 13 flexible floor plans. All are one-story homes featuring plenty of natural light, low maintenance and open space for comfortable living. Buyers choose the colors, carpet, fixtures and other design features to fit their lifestyles. Homes range from 1,156 square feet to 2,584 square feet and are priced in the $200,000s to $500,000+. Visitors can tour the nine fully furnished showcase homes daily and envision the possibilities!
