It’s fast. It’s furious. It’s fun. Once again, Jubilee will host the cycling time trials and road races for the 2006 Washington State Senior Games.

Jubilee will be one of several venues of competition in the Lacey area in July and will host the athlete celebration dinner on July 29th. In addition, the Links at Hawks Prairie will be the site of the golfing competition.

“We love having the Senior Games here at Jubilee,” said Christine Bachman, vice president of marketing for Jenamar Communities. “We have several residents who compete in events and many others who sit in their yards on lawn chairs and cheer on the athletes. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase our warm, inviting neighborhood and promote the benefits of exercise.”

The games take place July 28-30. Because 2006 is a qualifying year, athletes who meet the qualifying standards can go on to compete in the national Senior Games in Kentucky in summer 2007.

Life at Jubilee can be relaxing. Or at times, quite fast. But always a ton of fun.
